"Forgiveness"
"Through my faith in Christ I have come to believe that the painful, difficult, and challenging things in life do not have the final word and that God can redeem them and bring something good from them."- Adam Hamilton (Doubt)
Let's face it we have all had a bad moment. Lost our temper, said something we shouldn't, hurt someone, regretted our words, regretted our actions, or regretted not acting. We have been on the receiving end of that as well. Yet here we are. In a place where we have the opportunity to forgive and be forgiven. We have God's grace, but why don't we extend it to others when we know we should? Why do we hold grudges? Why do we hold on to that anger? I've heard it said often that you can forgive, but not forget. God gives us unconditional love. He left the 99 for one. In this world it is easy to doubt others. Easy to be confused. Easy to point fingers. We have no idea what is happening in other people's world. Just as we can't expect for them to know what's happening in ours. So, forgive. Be kind. Be gracious. Pray for others. Pray with others. Give your moments to God. For at the end of the day, we are all in need of forgiveness for something. And if you are holding on to something in you-Lay it down and find forgiveness for yourself. Learn from it. Grow from it. Let us not forget 1 John 4:10. "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is from Ephesians 2:8–9.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
Have a great day ahead everyone.
