"Comfort and Concern"
Sometimes people are concerned of how a situation will impact them. It could be a reflection of the unknown. Deep down it may even be fear. Fear of where this road leads. Fear that the path will not be what they thought it would be. We have to be intentional in those moments to do our best to address whatever the real concern may be. Is it a concern for us? Is it a concern for them? Is it just the situation? Ask those questions. When we do we will realize our place in that moment, we will understand our role, and what may be needed for everyone in order for all to feel comforted. We walk through the process. We will reassure them. We will let them know it's ok to not be ok, but that we must have faith that all will be. We let them lean on us. We give them a helping hand. We provide the shoulder. We listen to their concerns, and it helps us realize that in this is a blessing. A blessing that makes us see the strength we all have. The strength we all will need. The strength that has and will continue to carry us, and whoever else will need it.
