"Your Heart"
What's in your heart? What makes you get up each day and press forward? What and who are you letting in to your heart? I've learned over the years, in good and bad ways, that we control what we allow in, and who we allow to influence us. Our heart is the center of our emotions, thoughts, and purpose. What we nurture will grow. What we let grow will profoundly influence our actions, our path, our decisions. So, when we allow negativity to surround and fill our heart we are cultivating that in our lives. Remember, we are the biggest influence in how we want to live. We are the gatekeepers to our hearts. We get to choose each and every day what we allow in. So, we must be willing to constantly remind ourselves to nurture positive values, to maintain clarity in who and what matters, and to have relationships that allow our hearts to flourish. For what is in us is what we project. By being our own positive influence, by letting positivity surround us, by allowing the good to outweigh the bad, we not only impact how we feel and live, but those around us as well. A happy heart is a full heart.
So, I'll ask again. What is in your heart?
