"The Now"
I've spent the last week or so writing in my personal journal and not posting on social media. I appreciate the notes asking me where I was, and if I was going to post soon. Truth is, I felt a need to reflect, and for me that is writing my thoughts out. One of my favorite things I had written years ago was that no matter where I was in my head, in my life, in my journey I could always write myself back home. What I noticed was the more I wrote the closer to home I felt. More importantly I started to really understand what that meant to me. I believe we all go on a journey. I know for a fact that there are many chapters we must close to start our next one. I understand the significance of relationships, and what it means to help others when they no longer can help you. The more I wrote the more I kept coming back to loving the now. Loving where I am in this chapter. Taking all the lessons, the struggles, the adventures, the joys, the pains, the people that needed to go, the ones I need to stay, and finding the beauty of allowing myself to fully embrace the beautiful life that I get to live each day. There are no promises, so wasting even a moment seems selfish. So, here I am… living in the present. Fully embracing the here and now, where every moment holds the potential for personal connection and joy. The gentle touch of a hand, the warmth of a smile, or the laughter shared over a simple meal with family, friends and my person. In these fleeting moments, we discover the depth of our emotions. By letting go of past regrets and future anxieties, we allow ourselves to be truly present with our loved ones and realize just how deep our real relationships can go. We must be conscious of it. See that the act of love enriches our lives, and reminds us that the most profound experiences often lie in the ordinary, waiting to be cherished in our now.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer to today is from 1 Corinthians 13:13.
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Have a great week ahead everyone.
