Daily BITUB- “Contagious Influence”

Have you ever thought about the strength we have, the power we possess, the influence we can make, and the lives we can touch in our lifetime? When you think about the people in your life that you interact with daily think about how you acted and reacted. Was it impactful? Was it positive? Now, think about what you might have missed because you were so head down you didn't realize the influence you could have had. Think about that smile you didn't give. The words of encouragement you were too busy to mention. The feedback you put off until tomorrow. Think about how many times you jumped to conclusions or avoided the challenge. Thing is that's what we often overlook. The small things that can make the biggest impact.  The recognition of a friend's accomplishment, the smile someone needed today, the laughter to ease someone's tension all can make a difference in how your, and someone else's, day may go. I hear often people talk about what they have to do. I challenge them to think about all the things they get to do. Think about the prayers you said for others and the many who include you in theirs. Think about the faith you borrow when yours is wavering. Think about the beauty of giving to someone more than you take from them. We are blessed in our ability to simply be present. To be aware of who is around us. To touch a life by the smallest of gestures. Today, why not influence the outcome? Why not be a positive in a negative situation? Why not be the one who does exactly what we all would like done for us? Maybe it will be contagious, and that wouldn't be bad thing at all. 

Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you realize all the good you get to do. Embrace the moment and don't let it pass you by because you were too busy trying to make a life you forgot to live.
