If you are there then be there. Give every moment the attention it deserves.
Give every event you get to attend for your kids your undivided attention. Look at them so that small moment they look at you they see you smile. It matters. Take in every conversation and listen. Listen to the unspoken queues people give you that make the conversation meaningful. If someone older than you stops you to talk, then stop and talk. Listen to the stories, appreciate the wisdom, and give them the few minutes of time that means the world to them. If you get a chance to walk with someone you love, then take the walk. Hold hands when you can. Hug tighter when you must. Listen to the sounds of a moonlit night. Appreciate Mother Nature and respect Father Time. Take a meal to someone who needs it. Invite people over for dinner. Go out on the town. Dance the night away. Make your moments matter. Kiss your person good morning and always kiss them good night. Don't take for granted the opportunity to say I love you… And say it every chance you get.
