I was thinking today about a few things. Sometimes that takes us down a rabbit hole. We end up in places we really don't want to be, thinking about things we really don't want to think about. At least that's what we tell ourselves. Those thoughts wouldn't be there if we really didn't want them to be. Sometimes it's reflections about decisions we've made and thoughts about what if we had gone the other way. Other times it's about revelations and reassurance that we made the right choice because we wouldn't be here if we hadn't chosen the way we did. Often when I get into those places I try to focus on all the beauty and blessings I have right in front of me. Things I might not have if I had gone the other way. We can think ourselves into a frenzy wondering, or we can embrace the absolute of each moment we are given to impact our now. How often we miss the now when we are wrapped up in those what if moments. Yeah, it's not bad to ponder, but let's not lose sight of our present and the gift that it is. The moments, the relationships, the emotions that we get to have right here. The experiences of choices past, and the adventure that awaits in the choices yet to come. Pull them in. Hold them tight. Breathe in the air in your current world and give thanks for all the opportunities to make it matter with every breath you get to take today.
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you know there are no regrets. There are reasons for every choice, and in that we must trust in faith that the path we are on is exactly the one we should be on.
