She never judged us. From day one her little beautiful self loved so deeply. She was our biggest fan and we were hers. She always was ready to give us a hug- The best hugs. Like she knew the days we needed it most. She was there when both our kids were born. She loved our daughter, and loved her as if she understood when they both needed one another. She kept our baby boy warm for so many years. Sleeping comfortably in his arms. She was his best friend from the day he was born. She moved with us eight times and always made our house feel like a home as she adopted it so quickly. She was beyond potty trained sometimes holding it for hours as we sat on delayed flights. She loved unconditionally, even when we brought Little Orphan Annie (our rescue Chihuahua) home. She watched us laugh and cry. She sat patiently in our laps many a night giving the best lap snuggles. She feeling comforted not knowing it was her who comforted us. She was more than a dog. She was our baby girl. She was, and will continue to be, a part of us.
Thank you Daubie for gracing us with your beautiful soul for the past 16.5 years. We shall see you again.
