"Difficult Conversations"
What if we all fostered an environment that allowed others to talk about the things that are difficult to discuss? The tough conversations none of us want to have. The hard things we know need to be shared. The harder things we don't want to hear about ourselves. Recently revisiting an article about emotional courage, it reminded me of the importance of letting others say the things they need to say. It does none of us any good to keep it pent up inside. We all can benefit from being more open minded. Being more considerate and doing our due diligence to understand every side of a story before jumping to conclusions. We must be willing to ask the tough questions and be ready to hear the tough answers. To realize there is some truth to every perception, and we must understand what created that view in the first place. To give opportunities to those around us to build real and lasting relationships with us where being vulnerable is viewed as a strength not a weakness. What we may come to realize is that in fostering that type of environment we create a world around us void of false harmony. A place where we are able to nurture our relationships through trust and truth.
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is a reminder. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
