"Discovering"

It's funny how things come full circle. This is a post from 10 years ago. Yet here I am reading it thinking how good the reminder is. So, sharing again with all of you.

Sometimes we can't believe what has happened to us. We are confused, angry, and maybe even lost faith. We look around for answers, we pray for understanding, and sometimes we blame everything and everyone around us. We wonder how we got off the path and we desperately look to find it again. I've been there. I retreated quickly when things changed in my life back to a place where doubt was stronger than hope, anger was stronger than understanding, and loving life wasn't even an option. Maybe you've been there.  Maybe you are there now. While it doesn't happen overnight, faith, trust and confidence in God's plan can carry you a long way. Even when you are lost, when you stop turning to Him, are angry with Him… He is there waiting for you to come back and He knows exactly where you are.  It is within the moment that things start to make sense that we begin to understand why things are the way they are. We get why things unfold the way they do. Then the dark becomes light, the blessings start to become clear and we begin to see what we missed. We begin to realize that we never really left the path, we just forgot how to look at it.  

Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is from Romans 5: 3-5.

"And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us."
