Daily BITUB- ”Last Year’s Adversity”

You know the adversity you felt last year has no idea it's a new year. It's still there as long as you let it fester and grow. It won't take a break because you are tired. It won't fight less because you are weary from the battles. Quite the opposite actually. Adversity, negativity, bad thoughts feed off doubt. It feeds off the energy we give it, and often we give it way too much. We lose that positive momentum looking over our shoulder instead of pressing forward. Why? I don't have the answer to that. I know what it means to sit in self doubt. I know what it means to feel sorry for yourself. I know what it means to be afraid to carry on because of the emotional beating you just came out of. We don't want that again.  No, no we don't. The alternative should be our non negotiable. We must get ourselves there in that state of mind. We must refuse to give up. We must refuse to walk away. We must refuse to let something beat us, because here we are. We are here in this place and must remember all the things we have already overcome. Think about it. You have faced things you thought were insurmountable only to realize they weren't. That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because you have it in you to want more, to trust in your path, to believe that you can. To believe that you are capable. To believe you are more than the adversity in your way. To Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU!

Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you have the strength and the courage to overcome the adversity in your path. That you know you can move past it, and with God as your companion you will never have to do it alone.

Have a blessed day everyone.
